Terms of sale
Last updated October 29, 2026.
These terms explain how the books of Connected Continents Press are sold, who you are buying from, and what happens if something goes wrong. Connected Continents Press LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company, USA, info@connectedcontinentspress.com.
Who you are buying from
Each format can have a different seller. When a book goes on sale, the seller of each format will be named on the book page, next to the way to buy it, and again at checkout, before you pay.
Printed books ordered on this site: sold by Connected Continents Press LLC, printed to order and shipped by Lulu Press. Lulu runs the checkout for us and collects any sales tax due, and Stripe processes the payment. The price, tax and shipping are shown at checkout before you pay. Any import duties or taxes charged by your country on delivery are not included.
Amazon, Barnes & Noble and any other store that carries our books: these stores sell our books under their own terms, and questions about those orders go to the store.
Prices
When a book goes on sale, the total price, with any tax and shipping, is shown at checkout before you pay, and that is the price you pay. Any list price shown on a book page will be a planned price in U.S. dollars; each store sets its own final price.
Books not yet on sale
A book marked "Not yet on sale" cannot be bought or ordered on this site or through it. We take no pre-orders and no deposits. Titles of books not yet on sale may change.
Ebooks and audiobooks bought on this site
The files are for your personal use. They carry no copy protection, so we ask you not to share them. A file may not open, a download link may fail, or you may have bought the wrong edition or language. In any of these cases, write to info@connectedcontinentspress.com within 30 days of purchase. We will send a working file or the right edition, or have your order refunded in full.
Printed books bought on this site
Each copy is printed when you order it. The shipping time shown at checkout is the time within which we expect the book to ship. If it cannot ship by then, or within 30 days where no time is shown, we will email you with a new date and a free way to reply. You may accept the new date or cancel for a full refund. If the new date is more than 30 days away, or we cannot give one, your order is canceled and refunded unless you tell us to keep it.
If your book arrives damaged, misprinted or incomplete, write to us within 30 days of delivery with a photograph. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, whichever you choose.
Buyers in Mexico may also, within five business days of delivery and for any reason, write to us for a full refund. You do not need to send the book back.
Buyers in Mexico
If you buy as a consumer in Mexico, nothing in these terms limits the rights the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor gives you, and you may bring a complaint to the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO). For purchases from Connected Continents Press LLC, and for everything we promise on these pages, the Spanish version of these terms governs.
Invoices
Connected Continents Press LLC is a U.S. company and does not issue Mexican tax invoices (CFDI). Each seller sends its own order confirmations.
